Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m so glad you’re here! If we haven’t met, my name is Lauren. My husband, Josiah, and I live just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. We live a fairly simple and quiet life, seeking to honor the Lord in all we do. I work remotely as a personal assistant and my husband drives for Uber full time. Fun fact: that’s how we met. He was my driver to the airport. It’s my favorite story to tell. 

Speaking of stories, I am also a writer. I write a lot of personal essays and poetry, but like to dabble in bit of everything. In February of 2020, my first children’s book, Dear Little One, was published. It was quite the learning curve, navigating Covid shutdowns, but ultimately such a joy to see it launch into the world. 

The initial purpose of this website was to help promote the book, point people to where they could purchase it, and share whenever I’d be at a festival or event for signings. You’ll still be able to find all of those things here, but I’ve also decided to use this space to begin sharing more of my writing. I imagine the details of what that looks like will gradually shift and change overtime, but I am excited for this new venture and happy to have you along for the journey.
